Anthony: The line work of these are done on paper with a mechanical pencil (0.5 or 0.7)-or sometimes a fineliner pen- on paper. Usually in about 10 to 15minutes, to keep them loose and spontaneous. Then I scan them and block in the black areas and do some clean-up and little adjustments, like Charlie's hair tone and such.

Ja Jan! Afrikaans is soos Nederlands maar sonder die ornamentasie! Van my Hollandse vriende se dis soos 'baba taal' vir hulle... ek weet nie of dit 'n goeie ding is nie!
